Hi, I'm Mark!
Woodworking has been a lifelong passion of mine. It all began when I received my first hand saw as a birthday gift, and I've been creating with wood ever since. I'm also a proud United States Marine Corps veteran who spent many years serving overseas before returning home to Bryan, Texas.
When I'm not in the workshop, you'll usually find me attending concerts, fishing, or taking scenic drives across the great state of Texas. Most importantly, I'm happily married to my wife, Shannon—my biggest supporter, trusted board holder, and favorite sanding assistant.
Creating custom woodworking projects and one-of-a-kind furniture pieces is what I truly enjoy. Every piece is handcrafted with care, quality, and attention to detail, and I take pride in building items that families will enjoy for years to come.

I'm Mark's wife and proud partner in Live Oak WoodWorx. I'm also a Proud Fightin' Texas Aggie, Class of 2016—Whoop!
I earned my degree in Agricultural Leadership with a minor in Poultry Science, and I'm fortunate to be married to my very best friend. While Mark brings our woodworking ideas to life, I'm always happy to lend a hand in the shop and support our growing family business.
